Bio

Lizzy Fretwell is a freelance writer and theatre maker living and working in Luton. A Drama and Theatre Studies Graduate from Royal Holloway University, Lizzy spent a year in Falmouth, Cornwall after graduation before moving back to her hometown of Luton in 2018. 

A focus on community engagement, she has been involved with a variety of projects in Luton over the last two years, including People Power Passion, The Butterfly Effect, #BeLitLuton, Factory Reset (the Hat Factory Reopening) and Luton Graphic Novel.  

She is now working on her first independent project, We’ve Chosen Here, exploring places in Luton that spark memories of lost loved ones.

She is also developing her writing skills and hopes to see her work on stage or screen someday soon!
